The Salamanca Irish College commonly known as Colegio de Los Nobles Irlandeses is the oldest Irish College founded in the continent.
In year 2019 the institution hosting it celebrates 500 years. We want to seize this remarkable moment to proudly announce our collaboration.

Comúnmente conocido como Colegio de los Nobles Irlandeses, es el Colegio Irlandés más antiguo fundado fuera de Irlanda. En el año 2019 la institución que lo alberga cumple 500 años. Queremos aprovechar este destacado momento para anunciar nuestra colaboración.

Music and tradition are two of our main goals and one of our lines of work. We are promoters of a series of music sessions in collaboration with different Irish pubs to promote the Irish musical tradition.

The Spanish Tinkers´Sessions: musica tradicional irlandesa en vivo.
Música y tradición son dos de nuestros objetivos principales y una de nuestras líneas de trabajo. La asociación Hibernia Ibérica organiza un ciclo de sesiones de música tradicional irlandesa en colaboración con diferentes pubs irlandeses para difundir la tradición musical irladesa.

THE SPANISH TINKER´s SESSIONS
Starting on December 2019, on ocasion of the 500 aniversary of the fundation of the Colegio del Arzobispo Fonseca, which later hosted the Irish College, The Spanish Tinker´s along with the musicians of the Salamanca Irish Session celebrated a series of sessions playing and recording traditional irish tunes. The results of this sessions will be sinthesized in a CD and published under the aforementioned title as a testimony of the V century of the instititution.
